Unknown Device Detection Software in Windows

Perhaps the most frustrating thing for an owner of a computer aka PC is when there are hardware devices such as sound card, graphics card, mouse and others on his computer that were not detected or not readable by an operating system such as Windows OS.

How not upset, because if there is hardware that is not detected or are referred to as unknown device, then the hardware will only be as damaged goods that can not be used, when it is installed correctly on the computer.

There are several things that cause a hardware device (device) does not run properly, such as:
* Device does not have a (software) driver.
* Drivers who do not fit with the type of hardware.
* Driver is not updated, for example, drivers for Windows XP that no longer run on Windows Vista or Windows 7.
* Device ID is not known because no one in the Windows driver database.
* Hardware error or defect from the factory.

Hardware is not detected it will usually look at the hardware list in Device Manager in Windows as UNKNOWN DEVICE, which is marked with a yellow exclamation mark icon.

To help overcome this problem, might be able to use software that is devoted to detecting hardware drivers that do not have this: D, among which is the software Unknown Device Identifier (UDI) and software Unknown Devices (UKD).
UDI:
This software will identify unknown devices in Device Manager and provide detailed information in sufficient detail such as manufacturer name, OEM name, device type, device model and can also accurately inform the name of an unknown device.

With these data, the computer owner can find the right driver either by direct contact the vendor directly or look on the internet by clicking Find Driver.

Unknown Device Identifier (UDI) can be used on Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98SE, Windows Me, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.

UKD:
function similar to the UDI, which detect unknown devices to further inform in detail the hardware that reads so users can get the appropriate driver.

Unknown Devices (UKD) dirislis last time in 2007, and can run on Windows 95 through Windows Vista. Possible in Windows 7 can also be used. This software is a portable application, so no need to install can be directly executed.
